I bought these knee high socks in a charity shop for 29p! Admittedly, it was mainly for the 60s/70s packaging. I'm not sure why, but I could spend hours just looking at old bits of packaging. I love the photos, the colour, the font and the general design. Why can't tights come in packets like this anymore?

The shoes are from a recent carboot sale. I've never found a pair of vintage shoes that fit so well! They're mauvey lilac and have just the right size heel to be wearable on a daily basis. Better still - they're in excellent condition and seem to have hardly been worn.
I've been listening to Radio 1's Big Weekend on the radio all day & I really wish I was there. I love the atmosphere at music festivals so much but I haven't got any lined up for this summer. It would be a welcome break after the exam period!

ReplyDeleteI love stockings worn like this. Giles Deacon did a runway collection a while back with stockings and it looked so romantic. I don't know if you've seen it:
