Floral Skirt!

Hello :D. The project for today was taking up this floral skirt, which I bought in a charity shop a while ago. It has been in my sewing pile for a long time (I was too scared to ruin it). As you can see, it was rather long when I bought it - I cut off enough material to make a whole other skirt...

Oh - and I just discovered Picasa - what an amazing invention! It's going to make photo uploads so much easier.

Vintage T-Shirt - Charity shop
Skirt - Charity shop
Belt - Vintage

I'm pleased to announce that exams are finally over!!!!!
Time to celebrate/sleep!

Hopefully this means I'll have a bit more free time for blogging :).

wow! I always see cute skirts and dresses in vintage stores but I always think ''it's too long, it should be shorter!''. And well, I just think I won't be able to cut it shorter (because I've never sewn) and it's going to be crap and all that stuff xD So I never buy it. I should, really, and make some nice thing of it! You've done very well!

Hey! I just wanted to tell you, I adore your sense of style. You wear the clothes I dream on wearing. Im currently trying to find a good second hand store here in Oregon, but there's nothing good. But thanks for the inspiration honey!
