I thought I'd go outside for outfit photos today, and do a quick pose by the garden shed! I went back inside pretty quickly though, because I was getting strange looks from the neighbours and I was freezing cold. The photos really highlight my complete lack of skill with a camera... (the white tights seem to reflect a little bit too much sunlight...). Has anyone got any tips for taking pictures outside? Should you face the sun, or find a shady place to stand?

Dress - Vintage
Denim Jacket - New Look
Shoes - Topshop
Belt - Vintage

The dress is another vintage find. Weirdly, I had found almost exactly the same dress in another charity shop earlier on the same day (must have been a popular dress when it was made!). I thought it was quite similar in colour, pattern and shape to this one, which is on sale in topshop at the moment.I won't be blogging very much over the next week as I've got a few exams coming up. But I've got some DIY posts on the way so stay tuned!
Good luck to everyone who has exams :).

That´s my favoutite! I follow you!
I just found your blog. You're super cute! I'm commenting on this post (hope you see it) because I have some advice for outdoor photos. When it's bright sun, try to find a spot in the shade. The light will be very flattering. Overcast days are also good, they give a similar light. Direct sun can be bad, it is very harsh. If the sun is behind you, use a flash (preferably soft, if your flash doesn't have that option, try putting a piece of white paper over it) so you aren't a silhouette. Not only is the light harsh when you face the sun, you'll be likely to squint and make weird faces.
owhh belle.,.<3 <3 <3
