Firstly: again, I have to apologise for the lack of posts over the last week. Unfortunately, this history coursework just has to take priority! So if I don't blog for a few days, then thats where I'll be - at my desk scibbling away. The deadline's in 3 weeks time and I absolutely can't wait for it to be out of the way. Aaah...
Hopefully I'll finally finish my post on sewing tips in the near future, but for the time-being, I thought I'd show you my most recent purchase (bought at lunchtime today!). I've actually had my eye on this satchel for a few months now - I first saw it back in January, hanging all alone on the side of a dusty shelf of bric-a-brac in a local antique shop. It has had a place in my heart ever since, so I went back to buy it today. And how much did it cost? £3! Bargain.
I love the buckle detail :).

I'm so glad to be re-united with this top. It has been buried in my wardrobe for about a year! Don't you just love finding long-lost items of clothing?

LOVE the bag! Great find!
Gosh you manage to find such wonderful things so cheaply! amazing bag & outfit :) I wish I could sew lovely long floaty dresses too! and in answer to your comment, I was one of the people in the very garish pink 'London Fashion Weekend' T-shirts standing at doors with maps and handing out show bags and things :) I sort of ran past and recognised your coat! Unfortunately though I was on a mission to find someone so I couldn't say hello... glad you enjoyed it though! xxx
