I need your opinions!
I've never really mentioned it on the blog, but I'm a secret glasses wearer (shh!)... that means that during my photoshoots, I actually can't see a single thing - barely even the camera! For the last 3 years I've worn a horrible pair of half-rimmed metal glasses, which have left me feeling rather personality-less, at least in terms of glasses. I really dislike them.
Anyway, the other day I tried on this fabulous vintage inspired pair from Pepe Jeans, and I'm pretty keen on them, to say the least. I'm in a bit of a quandary though, because I think they might make me look a bit pretentious!
What do you think of them? And do they suit me?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Oh my godddddddd, as a fellow glasses wear I am completely jealous of these glasses and want them! You should wear glasses in some of your outfit posts (:
These glasses are really stylish, I think it really fits you! <3
I love those bad boys! Not pretentious at all they're super cute! xo
They are very geek chic and you can pull them off. My worry would be thats its alot to spend on a style that may not be fashionable for very long.
Oh my gosh, no! Those are so cute on you! Ahhh! It makes me want to just give you a hug, that's how cute you look
your glasses are totally awesome! I love it so much <3

i personally am noy a fan. sorry hun x
I think they look too much. I love your individual style and everything. But like all the vintage kiddies wear glasses like that to be cool and for me glasses like that always remind me more of those kids then the real retro aspect.
And i think there are better glasses out there for you. those aren't really suiting you perfectly, that's what i think.
They look sooo perfect on you. get them! (from a fellow secret glasses wearer)
x
I really like them. I wouldn't worry too much about anyone else, because you'll never please everyone!!
Looks lovely :) Then again, I can't talk I am itching to extend my nerd glasses collection (can you call two pairs of glasses a collection?) These are really cool.
I've worn glasses since I turned two but I als have contacts :) I take my outfits blind most the time too :D Unrepentent laziness: I can't be bothered to adjust for the reflections in my glasses.
I love them, totally get it!
definitely lovely! :)
I love the glasses. If you walk around any city in Asia you will see so many young people wearing these glasses. Take a leap of faith and enjoy the change. I really want to invest in a reading pair similar to these to avoid my bad habit of looking under the frame!
Yes, they fit you plus you are such a beautiful girl anything goes. =)
I think they are really cute!!
they're adorable! kinda like the ones that im planning on getting when i renew my prescription! :)
You look so lovely in them, definitely not pretentious! I say definitely get them!
I really really like them - they completely suit you, and your style! x
These are really fun! - different without being crazy, and noticeable but not over the top. I think they suit your style really well but, as much as I like them, I do wonder if they are a little big for your face. They seem to swamp you a bit. Are there similar frames that are a little smaller/less deep?
I really like them, they are vintage-y without being too east London 'dickhead'. Go for it Sadie!

Those glasses look amazing, go for it!
(from a fellow glass-wearer :-))
I love it! And it looks good on you!
I think they look super cute :) this website is pretty good for vintage glasses http://www.deadmensspex.com/default/
I think they're cute but might try for something smaller. Just my thoughts.
I think glasses are very nice :)
Ha ha !
Same, I use to wear lenses but more often glasses
These ones are made for you, really. You're very cute with them
See U !
Love them! I have a massive pair of geek glasses which i absolutely love - go for the plunge!
Hi Sadie,
I think the glasses are a bit OTT and swamp your petite face a little. Just a suggestion but you might want to try a pair of subtle cateye glasses, they're still in keeping with the vintage/retro theme, but could possibly suit your face shape more.
Lovely blog!xxx
They are ADORABLE. I love that style of glasses. But I do sort of agree with the last commenter's suggestion to try a more subtle pair. Cateye would be so cute.
I absolutely loooove them! So cute! Fact: I've always wanted to wear glasses, so I'm a little jealous that you look so adorable in them! ;)

Yeah there cute on you and there like the shape / style that Audery Hepburn used to wear! Which is all ways a good thing! x
I LOVE your style, but I do agree that something slightly smaller would be more ideal for your face shape. Your adorable so you can pull off anything but I feel like cateye glasses would just be perfect.
you are absolutely adorable! i hope you get them!
I think you look really cute on it :)
I love them!!! They look so cool!! :D
The glasses are wonderful (I recently lost my lovely pair of vintage looking glasses :( ) but I'm not sure that they're the ideal shape for you - perhaps something less round? They certainly don't look bad, but maybe there's an even more perfect pair out there waiting to be found? But then, it is hard to tell from only one picture :)
